Our client supplies glycol regeneration units for various phases of the South Pars gas fields development. In addition to a glycol reboiler steam bundle, which Robox also designed and supplied, an external reflux condenser is also required for these units.
Due to the 7 MW capacity, a bundle of nearly 12 by 4 m is required. Because of the high gas flow, a single-pass bundle was chosen with a removable bonnet type header equipped with multiple inlet nozzles. Due to the relatively low pressure, a bonnet type is very suitable for this application. Each delivery consists of 6 units. Robox designs and builds the bundles. The steelwork and impellers are provided by a subcontractor. The entire shipment was then packed seaworthy for transport to Iran. Through effective project management, Robox has successfully executed this extensive order for multiple phases.
This involves 6 Air Coolers with single-pass high finned (aluminum fins) bundles with removable bonnet type headers, type BHFB 5/12100×3775, entirely in stainless steel according to PD5500, API 661, and client specifications.
