Cooking oil heater

Cooking oil for frying potato products is heated with steam in this S&T. This steam condenses in the shell, and the released heat heats the cooking oil.

Due to the high temperature and the expansion of the materials, there is a bellows in the shell. The covers are easy to remove so that the tube side can be cleaned quickly.

New construction of two existing heat exchangers. These were due for replacement after a considerable time in operation. During the sales phase, it emerged that the customer wanted to replace the heat exchangers during the Christmas break shutdown. ROBOX pulled out all the stops to achieve this, including some minor design changes that made parts more readily available, and the expansion bellows were welded in-house because suppliers had no capacity for this within our project schedule.

These are Shell & Tube heat exchangers. A 1-pass shell and 2- or 3-pass tube side. Fixed tubesheets with bellows. Removable covers and removable channels, TEMA type AEL. Combination of CS and SS304(L) according to PED cat. IV/Mod. H1 and EN13445.
