Classification: Fixed tube sheet heat exchanger with removable bonnets and water injection. Features: The client will be stripping nitrogen from a gas stream. This gas stream must be heated and cooled during the process.
Classification: Reactor vessel without tubes, featuring a sight glass and connection nozzles, including custom-designed flanges. Characteristics: The client aims to utilize formic acid to respond to the transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy. To facilitate this, we were involved early on based on our thermal expertise. A reactor vessel was required quickly to test […]
Classification: ACHE, with 2 fans per bay, plug type header, high-finned tube, louvers, electric heating, platform. Features: Air cooler for a THIOPAQ unit in Rotterdam. The plug-type header allows for easy cleaning of the tubes. To protect the bundle and the process gas from freezing, an electric heater is placed under the bundle and a […]
Classification: Air cooler, dual design, 2 fans per bundle, adjustable blade pitch, frequency-controlled motors. BHFB type, designed according to API 661. Features: Thermal oil, extruded finned tubes, and removable headers. Strict noise requirements. Had to be designed to fit on the roof of a new boiler house.
Various coolers for a packaged mobile wellhead compressor unit. Multiple scenarios were calculated, and the “worst case” was identified for each device. Coolers designed and built according to NAM specifications.
For a vacuum application, our client, a vacuum system builder, is supplying a skid to Spain. This skid requires a condenser to condense liquid from the process gas under vacuum (2 kPa). The post condenser is a liquid/gas condenser and uses cooling water (in the tubes) to cool the process gas and condense several components.
