Cooling is done by means of Air Coolers. The oil is cooled with the help of outside air. To increase the surface, fins have been applied to the tubes. And to increase the heat transfer on the inside, wire mesh inserts are placed in the tubes.
Our customer supplies a number of systems to end user through a sealsystem supplier. These coolers are required for this. To fit the skid properly, the coolers are placed vertically. Due to the low capacities, only 1 row of tubes is sufficient. The connection headers are of the manifold type. Welding noses are milled on a solidly drilled rod and tubes are attached to them by means of orbital pliers with a qualified round seam weld.
It concerns several Air Coolers with single or multi-pass high finned (aluminum fins) bundle with manifold type headers, type MHFM, entirely in stainless steel according to PED cat. II / Mod A2 or cat. III / mod. H, ASME VIII Div. 1 and API 682.
