For an LNG filling station, an LNG condenser is required for proper operation of the installation. LNG is considered the cleanest fossil fuel.
In the condenser, gaseous LNG is condensed with liquid cold LNG.
Our customer designs, builds, finances, operates and maintains public and private filling stations for LNG, CNG, green gas, hydrogen, and electric charging points, for companies and governments. For an LNG filling station system, a compact LNG condenser is required to make the installation work efficiently. To minimize the risk of leaks, a completely sealed construction, without flanges and gaskets, is preferred. Due to the low design temperature of -196 ° C, stainless steel was chosen. Within these preconditions ROBOX has made a compact thermal design using HTRI. This has been applied in a closed design by applying the mechanical expertise. This condenser has now been used in several filling stations.

“Supplying an installation for a still to be built distillation plant was a completely new experience for us. We called in the expertise of ROBOX to (re) calculate the heat exchangers. Due to their careful calculation method and attention, an error in the calculation made earlier was unexpectedly discovered. As a result, ROBOX has played an important role in the successful completion of our project. The heat exchangers were then designed, built and delivered by ROBOX, exactly as agreed.
What I like about working with ROBOX is that they are a small company just like us. We have found each other in the hands-on mentality that we share together. A company can produce good products, but in the end it’s all about the right people. ROBOX has both technical and commercial skills. You get the feeling that your assignment is really in good hands. In the meantime, we have again entered into a partnership with them. After the previous assignment, we have full confidence in ROBOX! ”
